Q. How do you find other singles?
A. There is a photo gallery with each person’s background information. You may display multiple pictures of your choosing. If a are interested in someone, you can email the person and if they are interested they will get back to you
Q. What is included in the photo gallery?
A. Besides the pictures, it includes your first name, age, state, interests/hobbies, a self description, and your pastor’s name and phone number.
Q. What is the Message of the Month?
A. The Message of the Month is a collection of audio sermons from some of America’s greatest preachers. These sermons are specifically for singles and are meant to help you in your Christian walk as a single person.
Q. What is the Activities Board?
A. The Activities Board is the place to find or post church activities for singles; it is free for anyone to post a singles’ activity. Simply click the link to see what churches are hosting activities in your area and you will have the opportunity to meet other single people in the safe environment of a church activity. Be sure to post your church’s activities, too!
Q. What is In His Time Magazine?
A. This is an online bi-monthly magazine containing powerful articles written by great men of God. This magazine is designed to encourage you as you live for the Lord as a single person.
Q. What if I am not a Christian?
A. This website was designed for Christians, and only for Christians. If it is discovered that you are not a Christian, your account will be closed and no premiums will be refunded.
Q. What if I have a prayer request or a question?
A. If you have a prayer request or a question, simply contact us and leave a message.
Q. Can I be kicked out?
A. If you choose to post something that In His Time deems negative or sinful, we reserve the right to close your file. If this occurs, no premiums will be refunded. Please see the legal agreement notice for further information.
Q. Who is Pastor Lawrence?
A. He was saved at six years old and called to be a pastor while in high school. He graduated with three degrees from Hyles-Anderson College, and will start the Northridge Baptist Church in Macomb, Michigan this next year. He founded In His Time Dating in 2009.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. There is no monthly fee’s. It is only $75.00 for a one time payment.
Q. Can I purchase a one month, three month, or one year subscription?
A. In His Time believes that God’s will is not wrapped up in a three month subscription, and that finding a mate must be in God’s timing. For this reason, we only collect a one-time fee. This website is meant to be a tool to help you find the person God has for you. We believe that this will indeed occur in His time.
Q. Will my information be sold to telemarketers?
A. All information is kept private and is not sold to any outside firm. In His Time believes that the best place to find a spouse is at a Christian college. You may receive information about certain Christian colleges that In His Time would recommend as great places to find a spouse. Please see the legal agreement for further information.
Q. Is a background check required?
A. The background check is highly recommended sometime in your relationship, but not required. If you are a lady and you start to feel as if the relationship is a good one, we strongly recommend that you run a background check on the gentleman with whom you are corresponding. It could save great heartache later.
Q. Do have any advice you would like to give to singles on this website?
A. Take your time and go slowly. You still do not have a complete picture of his character. Do not give your home address or meet him alone. Always get advice from your pastor and father. They want the best for you.
Q. Does In His Time have counselors we can call?
A. No, we leave the counseling to your pastor and parents. God will give them special wisdom to help you.
Q. How do I pay?
A. We use PayPal. We accept debit or credit cards, and all information is kept confidential.
Q. Is it hard to contact someone?
A. No, it is very easy. Just email the person and if he/she is interested you can go at his/her pace.
Q. How do I cancel?
A. You simply contact us, and we will close your file.
