Are You 100% Sure of Heaven?

1) We can know you are going to Heaven:
I John 5:13b “… that ye may know that ye have eternal life and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

2) We are all sinners:
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

3) We need to repent of our sin:
Acts 3:19 “Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out.”

4) The punishment for sinners is Hell:
Psalms 9:17 “The wicked shall be turned into hell.”

5) Jesus died for our sins:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

I Peter 2:24 “Who his own self bear our sin in his own body on the tree. By whose stripes ye are healed.”

6) We don’t have to work our way to Heaven:
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved throught faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God. Not of works least any man should boast.”
* Grace means to get something that you don’t deserve to get.

7) Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and take you to Heaven someday when you die:
Romans 10:13 “For whosoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
* The word call means in this verse, to pray.

I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Here is a sample prayer:
“Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I deserve hell for my sin. Please forgive me of my sin and I trust in Jesus alone as my only way to get to Heaven. Please come in my heart and save me and take me to Heaven someday when I die. Amen”
